The point is: voting from Turkey was not an easy process for me.
But the folks at the Walla Walla County Elections Office let me know that my ballot will count (or, more probably, has already been counted).
So vote!
You don't have to believe in the system to know that your participation is key to changing it.
Good on ya. Moving from TX to WA during the election process meant losing our ballots to the USPS forwarding void, printing out new ones, then racing to get them counted. This is a very important election, and if it should come to a popular vote count (heavens forbid), all of our votes will count!!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I read this again and I couldn't agree more with you about the hoops we've got to jump through. Expect a letter soon detailing my adventures voting!
